Peiheng Cai

I am Peiheng Cai, mainly focus on immersive experience productioin and development.

Interdisciplinary background:

After graduated from Shanghaitech University with BE in CS, I pursued an MFA at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and then VR&AR at Goldsmiths, University of London.

 

Main Interest:
My main interest lies in immersive experience development,  including XR experience and game development, as well as advertising with creative technology.

Developing skills:

With a strong technical foundation in C#, as well as Python, C++, Matlab, I’m passionate about using technology to drive creative expression.

Through XR projects like a mixed reality musical and  VR escape room, I’ve gained hands-on experience with spatial computation, graphics mathematics, and interactive system design. In my other game development work, I dived into procedural generation, shader graph, game AI, and physics-based interactions. These projects also introduced me to basic modeling and asset integration using Blender and Maya.

Narrative experience creation:

Also as a director, I directed several micro films. The genre varies from love story, to virtual production sci-fi, and interactive ethical play, which enrich myy experience in script writing, cinematography and video editing.
